Best Practices Achieved
1. Eliminate Single-Use Water Bottles and Provide Water Refill Stations
1) We provided the organisation's staff with bottles of water. Our refill station are located within the building and they are available for employees and guests. One is located inside, the other one is located outside, so everyone can use it for free. The water comes from the aqueduct network and it is further purified.

3. Serve Food with Plastic-Free Dinnerware
3)we serve food in biodegradable materials or plates and dishes that are washed with specific non-polluting detergents.
4. Skip Bags or Go Reusable
4)We gave the sailors Slam and North Sails bags as skippers bags that they can reuse
5. Award Practical Items or Use a Perpetual or Upcycled Trophy
5) Yccs prizes are perpetual trophies.
6. Publicize Your Sustainability Efforts
6)we have shown on our Instagram page what YCCS is doing to reduce its environmental impact. All the YCCS initiative are also listed on YCCS website.

7)We have agreed with local organisations to spread the 4Rs of sustainability messages on our YCCS Instagram page

8)We have provided signs indicating how to separate waste, we have also specified that the materials used for post-race refreshments are all biodegradable

16)To raise awareness about marine wildlife, we promoted UNESCO's efforts to raise public awareness about marine research and the importance of biodiversity on the YCCS Instagram page and we also promoted the Charta Smeralda (a code of conduct) on the RC44 APP related to the event in Porto Cervo

18)Range Rover is the automotive partner of the YCCS and provides a courtesy car service to sailors and staff arriving in Porto Cervo for the event
