Best Practices Achieved
1. Eliminate Single-Use Water Bottles and Provide Water Refill Stations
1. Reusable water bottles were provided. Water refilling stations were clearly marked and accessible.
2. No plastic straws are used
3. We use "real" place settings and fabric tablecloths.
4. Fabric skippers bags were used
5. Awards were crystal flasks, etched by a member.
6. Participation in Clean Regattas was publicized in our Notice of Race, posters on site, and at meetings
7. Sponsors were delighted and supportive
to learn of our participation in Clean Regattas.
