12. Divert Food Waste from the Landfill
In the first photo of guests at our Pot Luck dinner, you can see real flatware, compostable plates, fabric table cloths, glass wine glasses, no straws, no plastic items at all. We had several vegan dishes including a quinoa tabbouleh as well as gluten free options. Guests brought their pot luck offerings in their own dishes and took them home to wash.
The second photo shows many of the same things, as well as in the background, our returnable can bin and trash bin.
In the second photo, background is our recycling bin with signage to indicate recyclable items.
