Best Practices Achieved

18. Use Eco-Smart Management Techniques

#6. We help publicize Clean Regattas with a dedicated page on our website: https://bucketregatta.com/clean-regattas/. #7. We used a local trying to get his refillable water station business off the ground. We use a local caterer for all our food and he prepares local fare. We help support the Youth Sailing Program at the St Barths Yacht Club by allowing them to sell their merchandise and raise money. In addition we also choose a separate local organization and the two receive a donation from part of the participants entry fees. #13 All our race entry forms and race documents are done electronically. See website under Race: https://bucketregatta.com/race/notice-of-race/ #16 Habitat Awareness is posted for all to see at the race venue, talked about at the skippers meeting and on our website. #17 I forgot to take a pick of our food but definitely offered particpants a vegan and vegetarian option. #18 We use Mark Bots as a means of employing Eco-smart race management. They do not use anchors that can disturb the ocean floor and sea life.
