1. Eliminate Single-Use Water Bottles and Provide Water Refill Stations
All participants were provided reusable water cups and water refill stations. Sailors and volunteers used refillable water bottles. My photos don't fit the format for this page and won't attach to the document.

No straws were provided or used during the regatta.
3. Serve Food with Plastic-Free Dinnerware
Participants brought or were provided flat ware that was reused for provided meals.
4. Skip Bags or Go Reusable
No Plastic bags were used. Participants were given reusable bags.
5. Award Practical Items or Use a Perpetual or Upcycled Trophy
Regatta winners were given custom sunglasses and engraved, wooden keychains as awards.

Sustainability was stressed at each gathering; competitors meeting, meals, etc.

Sustainability efforts were reinforced in all regatta documentation and event reminders; Notice of Race, Sailing Instructions, online advertising and reminders.

Posted disposal signage and had plastics recycling/recycled product information available for participants and observers. We had a 25 lb. "medicine ball" made from recycled plastic.
9. Serve Local Food or Source Seafood Sustainably
Food, to include shrimp for the "Low Country Boil" was sourced from local venders and grocery stores.

Had a 3 person "Green Team".
